- Bitcoin price is testing the USD 21,000 level.
- Ethereum hovers around USD 1,150, XRP surged almost 13%.
- SOL is nearing USD 40, MATIC is the best performer.
Bitcoin price formed a base above the USD 20,500 support and moved above the USD 21,000 level. It is currently (04:03 UTC) trading near USD 21,070 and is up 4% in a day and over 3% in a week.
Similarly, most major altcoins are showing signs of an increase. ETH surpassed the USD 1,100 and USD 1,120 resistance levels. XRP surged and broke the USD 0.35 resistance. ADA is eyeing an upside break above the USD 0.50 resistance.

Bitcoin price
After a close above the USD 20,500 level, bitcoin price started a steady increase. BTC climbed above the USD 21,000 resistance and even cleared USD 21,200 before correcting some of its gains. It seems like the bulls are aiming for a move above the USD 21,500 level. The next major resistance is now near USD 22,200. A close above the USD 22,200 level might start a rally towards the USD 23,200 level.
On the downside, an initial support is near the USD 20,500 level. The next major support is near the USD 20,000 zone, below which the price could start a stronger decline.
Ethereum price
Ethereum price also started an upward move from the USD 1,050 level and is now testing USD 1,150. If it reaches USD 1,200, the next major resistance is near USD 1,250, above which the price could rise towards the USD 1,320 level. ETH is up 7% in a day and almost 8% in a week.
On the downside, an initial support is at USD 1,120. The next major support is near USD 1,050, below which the price could revisit USD 1,000.
ADA, BNB, SOL, DOGE, and XRP price
Cardano (ADA) remained well bid above the USD 0.45 support. The price started a steady increase above the USD 0.48 level and neared the USD 0.50 resistance.
BNB is up over 6% and trading above the USD 230 resistance level. The next major resistance is near the USD 242 level, above which the price could even test the USD 250 level.
Solana (SOL) is up 11% and it is now approaching the USD 40 resistance zone. A clear move above the USD 40 level could set the pace for a larger increase.
DOGE was able to clear the USD 0.0650 resistance zone. The next major resistance is near the USD 0.068 level. A clear move above the USD 0.068 level could set the tone for a move towards the USD 0.070 level.
XRP price finally gained bullish momentum and broke the USD 0.335 resistance. It gained 14% and broke the USD 0.35 resistance. The next major resistance is at USD 0.38. XRP is also up almost 18% in a week.
Other altcoins market today
Many altcoins are up over 5%, including DOT, AVAX, MATIC, UNI, LINK, CRO, ATOM, ALGO, XMR, ETC, VET, and SAND. Out of these, MATIC rallied 23% and surpassed the USD 0.60 level, becoming the best performer among the top 100 coins today, and increasing its weekly gains to 57%.
Overall, bitcoin price is moving higher above the USD 21,000 level. It seems like BTC could rise further towards USD 22,000 or USD 22,500 in the near term.
